Today we learned to count to one.

" 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation,' a treatment by Todd Mozelle, Grade Three."

'Is THIS the way you plan to spend your peak learning years?'

'Second grade. When did you discover 'LMNOP' wasn't one letter?'

'I wrote a software program and sold it for two million dollars.'

"What can I say? Second grade just hasn't lived up to the hype."

Not much money, glory, or praise

"I thought your show-and-tell was really brave."

"He's my school project for science class."

'Look. Billy Curry did a nude!'

'Your report card grades are poor. Maybe you should stop building model airplanes. The glue is getting to you.'

"The school year is officially over, and the teachers won."

"Hey, you guys, don't you remember? The big word here is 'compromise.' "

"I got the highest grade in the class, except the giraffe."

"I knew there'd be pitfalls when I became a teacher, but thirty to a classroom is too many."

"Fear not, Miss Hathaway. Just go home and listen to a cd of howling wolves or screeching monkeys and by Monday you'll be ready for your 3rd grade class."

'So what is the consulting that you got an 'A' for?'
